HKUST Inter-University Public Policy Case Competition 2024

The HKUST Inter-University Public Policy Case Competition is a flagship event at the Division of Public Policy of HKUST. The Competition aims to provide students with an opportunity to analyze pressing public policy issues and recommend practical solutions to policy makers. The inaugural session was successfully launched in Spring 2019, followed by the second session in Spring 2021. After years of the pandemic, the third session of the Competition will be hosted on the HKUST Clear Water Bay campus in Spring 2024.

 

Prizes

Champion (HKD 10,000 cash prize)

1st runner-up (HKD 8,000 cash prize)

2nd runner-up (HKD 6,000 cash prize)

3rd runner-up (HKD 4,000 cash prize)

The Competition Schedule

Round 1: March 22, 2024 (submission deadline)

Round 2: 2:00pm to 6:00pm, April 13, 2024 (Saturday), HKUST Clear Water Bay Campus

 

Eligibility

Sub-degree, undergraduate and postgraduate (taught and research) students from all higher education institutions in Hong Kong are eligible for participation. Eligible students may form a team of 3 to 4 membersMembers of the same team must be from the same institution. Each team may consist of members from the same discipline/education level or a variety of disciplines/education levels.
